Space Requirements

  • 6,000-12,000 square feet
  • Open, rectangular layouts with high ceilings; minimal pillars
  • Rear truck loading (grade-level or dock) with double doors
  • Preferably located within a 10km radius of another Salvation Army Thrift Store
  • High visibility on arterial roads; pylon signage preferred
  • Grocery and drugstore co-tenancy preferred, or secondhand retailers
  • Ample parking with controlled access; transit access for urban sites
  • Larger and smaller stores considered on a case-by-case basis
