International Women’s Day has a special meaning for us at The Salvation Army Thrift Store, as almost 70% of our employees and over 65% of our leadership team identify as female. To recognize the tremendous contributions of these individuals to our workplace and the communities we live in, we encouraged our teams across Canada to celebrate this special day and support this year’s International Women’s Day Campaign #EmbraceEquity.
