Thrifting is a great way to restyle kid’s clothes, especially with The Salvation Army Thrift Store being a place where you can Refresh, Recycle and Restyle! April is #EarthLovesThrift month. My wardrobe may be about 80% thrifted but a lot of our home décor, books and homeware are also from The Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Since the moment I found out I was having twins I knew thrifting their wardrobe would not only be fun, but really exciting!
3 Reasons to use Restyled Kids Clothes
1. Financially it’s more affordable to find kids clothes secondhand.
2. Brand name clothes for a fraction of the price.
3. Kids are hard on clothes and grow quickly. Thrifting is a stress-free way to keep up with their wardrobe.
It’s always nice to have a holiday outfit! We have family brunch this year and I wanted to find some dresses for Evie and Poppy. I was lucky enough to find two little jean jackets, two unicorn dresses and 2 pairs of shoes all for $24! The dark blue unicorn dress is Zara and new dresses online sell anywhere from $20 to $35, so to get TWO full outfits for $24 is such a great deal, plus these are quality pieces that will last. This is one of the many reasons why I shop at The Salvation Army Thrift Store!
