Wedding and grad season is here, so I decided to take a trip to my local Salvation Army Thrift Store to grab some necessities for my formal wardrobe.
The first item I scored is this awesome Michael Kors long sleeve for $7.99 — talk about a Fab Find! It is soft to the touch and breathable which is essential considering how hot it can get in the summer.
The second item I found is this really cool skinny leather tie. It gives off an 80’s vibe and the texture made me grab it right away.
I put this outfit together with an 80s inspiration that still achieves the wedding/grad look I was going for. I hope you like it and hopefully take this as a sign to hit up your local thrift store to get you prepared for whatever formal occasions you have lined up this summer.
Remember; getting your formal wear from the Salvation Army Thrift Store means you will probably be the only one with that piece, which makes it even more unique! Stay safe and happy thrifting.
