Hi, my name’s Andrea, Calgary resident and lover of thrifting. I went shopping at two different Salvation Army Thrift Stores here in Calgary with $100 in gift certificates in my pocket.
< First stop: Chinook Thrift Store (58th Ave SW, Calgary)
The store was clean, organized and all of the staff were super friendly and helpful. This location has a great selection of books!
Second stop: Douglas Square Thrift Store (24th Street SE, Calgary) >
The home goods section is my favourite, and this one did not disappoint. Here is my cart full of treasures.
Thrift Haul: For $102 I was able to buy 3 baskets, a wicker organizer, vintage brass bowl, brass napkin rings, wood serving spoons, pair of vintage floral needle points, vintage brass bar tool set, pair of Sorel Winter Boots, new with tags TNA bodysuit, H&M bodysuit, and a Madewell top!
I’m so happy with all my thrifted finds, thank you Salvation Army!
