Happy International Coffee Day! Every day starts with a strong cup of joe in my house. For those that are caffeine addicts like me - here's a way to celebrate International Coffee Day... create a nook for all your coffee supplies. Setting up your own coffee nook is easy-peasy thanks to your local Salvation Army Thrift Store.

So, what does the ideal coffee nook include?

Coffee machine

#1. A coffee machine
Depending on your coffee making preference you can usually find a French press, stovetop or coffee machine secondhand.

#2. Coffee grinder
For those true coffee connoisseurs keep your eyes out in your thrifting adventures for a coffee grinder.

#3. Coffee bean container
You can use a sealable container that's made to store coffee beans or repurpose a thrifted fine. Infuse your personal vibe by sourcing something with a specific colour, shape or pattern.

Sugar and creamer

#4. Sugar and creamer set
You can score vintage sugar and creamer sets at your local Salvation Army Thrift Store or even find more modern sets, depending on your personal style.

Mugs

#5. Coffee cups and mugs
Never buy these new. You can luck out by finding a matching set or mix and match your cups and mugs.

Coffee

Bonus! You can source other nifty finds that add to your nook like this cup and plate set for your coffee and snack. Or you can find cups in a stackable storage that help maximize your counter space.
