SANTA SPOTTED IN TORONTO THRIFT STORE …

Putting Thriftmas Into Christmas?

Santa was spotted this morning in The Salvation Army Thrift Store’s East York location, doing what looks to be some serious Christmas shopping.

He’d made a list and was checking it twice as he sauntered through the aisles, looking at toys, men’s shirts, women’s handbags and boots, housewares, and electronics.

It seems like Santa was trying to go under the radar — wearing a trench coat and sunglasses — and he didn’t seem too keen to talk to us. He ignored our reporter’s questions about who he was shopping for and what was happening in Santa’s Workshop… though he did make a comment to one of the Thrift Store employees who took the opportunity for a Santa selfie.

Some of Santa’s fab finds were matching Salvation Army water bottles, which he seemed to be scooping up for each of his reindeer… gotta stay hydrated when you fly around the world! He also gave us a thumbs up when asked about the deals at the Thrift Store… and it looks like he might have gotten the extra seniors discount as well.

The real question is… if Santa is crossing off his Christmas list at the thrift store, does that mean the elves aren’t making presents in the North Pole?

Are the elves on strike?

What’s happening to Christmas??

We reached out to Santa’s team to try to find out more… but so far they declined to comment. Stay tuned for more on this breaking story!
