Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor you are to reduce losses and maximize sales and profitability by maintaining high standards in sales, merchandising, marketing, displays, promotions, customer service and public relations. 

Job Duties

• Coordinate the activities of the store during assigned shift on behalf of management

• Provides excellent service to guests, fulfills various sales and production roles within the store and assists the manager by directing tasks as assigned

• Responsible for opening/closing and daily reporting during these periods

• In addition, the Supervisor authorizes payments and return merchandise, resolves problems and guest complaints as they arise, and assists in training and monitoring new staff

Shift Supervisor Skills and Qualifications

• Two to five years’ experience with cash procedures, pricing and sorting procedures, and product display and promotion guidelines

• Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent

• Excellent written and oral English (French where required)

• Demonstrated trustworthiness and responsibility

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, email, cell phones, etc.

• Eye for detail

• Dependability

• Approachable with good interaction/people skills

To join a hands-on work environment where you will be required to physically move through our operation while adhering to daily goals.  We are operational 7 days a week and schedule our employees based on operational needs – days, evenings and weekends (Please Note: Our stores are open for shopping Monday to Saturday and Sundays we are open to receive donations).
