5 WAYS TO LIGHT UP YOUR OUTDOOR PATIO

Summer's just around the corner which means it's time to get your patio ready for outdoor dining! It's so easy to brighten up your space using thrifted finds. Here are a few items to look out for that are guaranteed to warm up your patio area:

1. Christmas lights
You can usually score festive lighting that you can reuse for your patio. Hang the string lights or wrap them around your fencing or posts to add some sparkle to your outdoor setting.

2. Mason jars
Mason jars are always a great go to item for all sorts of crafting and DIY-ing. You can turn them into lanterns by Mod Podging tissue paper to them or leave them as is.

3. Bowls
Bowls of all sizes can be used to house candles. You can either pick up LED tea lights from your local dollar store or try floating candles.

4. Glasses
Glasses of all sizes and heights are perfect for adding more light to your patio. Again, you can use LED tea lights or regular candles in the glasses.

5. Candle holders
You can always find fun and interesting candle holders at your local Salvation Army Thrift Store. If you're lucky you may find the perfect candelabra or lanterns for your patio. Feel free to mix it up to create an eclectic ambiance for those nights outside.
