There are so many ways to organize and display your jewelry by refashioning a thrift store find. An easy DIY is to repurpose a grater or strainer from your local Salvation Army Thrift Store.
I scored this grater and this mini strainer from my local Salvation Army Thrift Store to help feature my jewelry collection. I decided to leave them as is - feel free to customize your finds by painting them and adding some extra bling.
I upcycled the strainer into a hanger for necklaces. I hung it on my wall then draped a few of my FAV necklaces on the bottom of the strainer.
I repurposed the strainer into an organizer for my earrings. The front of the grater is perfect for dangly earrings and the side I used for stud earrings. The grater allows for so many pairs to be displayed!
I switched things up for my rings. I repurposed a funky martini glass to house my rings.
It's fun to be creative in organizing jewelry by upcycling secondhand finds. You can experiment with kitchenware, home decor items, etc. You can definitely create your own vibe in how you combine various thrift store treasures.
